Video Poker Optimized: The Tactics of Winning Play by Dan Paymar is a short, but incredibly valuable, book that covers the tactics of playing video poker successfully.
This is not the first book on video poker that you should read, since it doesn't cover the strategy of play that you can find in other books, including Paymar's own Video Poker — Optimum Play. It is, however, a book that you should read after you learn proper strategical play, as it is a wonderful complement to any video poker library, and at a great price!
"Do not underestimate the importance of this book based on the length of it's verbiage. There are single paragraphs in here which could be the difference between riches and ruin. Although this book does not contain everything you need to know about video poker or how to beat the casinos, it does contain all the parts that seem to have been left out of the other books. Dan's format is almost frighteningly concise, covering in only a couple of paragraphs what took me entire chapters, making this a must-read product. No matter what books you have already read, this one will add to your knowledge and fill in the gaps, fully preparing you to venture into casinos with the confidence that you will be a favorite to take their money and not the other way around."
