Our oldest wish and hardest endeavour has finally been accomplished.
We are very happy to offer Our Glow Glass Powder / Dust in pressed Borosilicate Stix, thanks to the help of Origin Glass www.originglass.com and Elan Technology http://www.elantechnology.com
Our popular powders have been a niche addition to many special artists that decided to venture outside the proverbial box. The Glow Glass Gallery will be re-posted very soon to give examples of the product in all glass COE and to credit the artists that have contributed and helped us progress to where we are now.

Our alliance with Origin Glass and Elan Technology gives us a way to make our Glow Glass powders / dusts into any glass coe in any shape that we choose.....the possibilities are truly endless.
Our goal is to release all 7 Glow Glass colors into Boro-Stix and then switch COE and make Stix for 104, 96, and 90.....using the current and expanding colors of Origin Glass and Glow Glass, we aim to give all glass artisans the opportunity to use our colors in the Cane/Stix form.





Glow Glass Powders / Dust

  Glow Glass Dust is a silica-based powder which, when worked with glass, makes a finished piece of Art Glass Glow in the Dark. Non-Toxic, Non Radioactive, Non Carcinogenic, and Non hazardous our product is available here to purchase in seven different colors. This powder is the first and only Glow in the Dark material successfully tested in every glass C.O.E....

  Roll your hot bead in the powder and then gently swirl the powder with a hot rod to blend it when casing the bead. Or make a stringer by blending and mixing the powder well with two hot rods & then pull a stringer as usual. The stringer can be used to add decoration to your bead.
The glow dust needs to be "charged", preferably with daylight. The amount of glow time is determined by how long the glass was charged. Can hold a charge for 8-12 hrs. with proper charging.

 Glow-in-the-dark Glow Glass Powders can be used in lampworking, fusing and off hand glassblowing. All seven colors are compatible with ALL soft glass (90 COE - 132 COE), including ASK, Effetre (Moretti), Vetrofond, Lauscha, Bullseye, System 96, Uroboros, Satake, Czech, Kinari and Satake. All seven Glow Glass colors are compatible with hard glass (33 COE), including Origin, Glass Alchemy, Northstar, Momka and other borosilicate glasses. 

 Glow Glass Powders are non-toxic, non-radioactive, non-carcinogenic and non-hazardous.

Glow Glass Powders are charged by exposing them to a light source.

 Any light for about one minute will give short term glow.

Strong sunlight for about one hour will charge the glass long enough to glow for many hours.

Our products are now being sold for application to plastics, polymer, paints and all other art mediums as well as glass.
