This is an Authentic US Mint Proof Set of each coin made for circulation in 1999 (except the Susan B. Anthony Dollar).
To achieve their striking beauty, coin blanks are fed into presses fitted with highly polished dies. Then, each coin is struck at least twice to ensure fine detail. The result is a frosted image that appears on a mirrored background.
This set consists of two handsome protective plastic cases.
One set contains contains the 1999 state quarters:
- Delaware
- Pennsylvania
- New Jersey
- Georgia
- Connecticut
The other set contains the cent, nickel, dime, and half dollar.
The cases are inserted into specially printed sleeves and are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Each coin is produced by the San Francisco Mint and bears the "S" mint mark.
