This is an Authentic US Mint Proof Set of the second set of five state quarters:
- Massachusetts
- Maryland
- South Carolina
- New Hampshire
- Virginia
To ensure the beauty of each state quarter, coin blanks are fed into presses fitted with highly polished dies. Each coin is struck at least twice to ensure fine detail. The result is a frosted image that appears on a mirrored background. This set consists of a handsome plastic case containing the five state quarters. The case is inserted into a specially printed sleeve and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Each coin is produced by the San Francisco Mint and bears the "S" mint mark.
