1. When heating your bag, either mist it with a spray bottle of water, or put a small glass of water in the microwave to keep your corn from drying out. And,

2. Do you know what's better for treating a muscle pull - a heating pad or a cold compress? Well, for best results, use both. Apply a cold pack (yes, my corn bags can go in the freezer) to the injured area to reduce swelling and numb pain for the first 24 hours. Thereafter, use a heating pad to improve circulation, which in turn helps relax sore, aching muscles. If swelling is extensive, use cold packs throughout recovery. Limit your use of either to no more than 20 minutes at a time!

This quality product is hand constructed of two layers of soft cotton fabric, and filled specially treated and thoroughly sterilized corn.

Because many of my customers are sensitive to scents, the standard bag will include no herbs or oils. However, I will gladly make these with appropriate herbs or essential oils, at no extra charge, to suit your specific needs or desires. If requested, the herbs used can include the original source of salicin - the forerunner of modern day 'aspirin'. Be sure to state your requests in the 'Customer Message' field when ordering. Many of the herbs I use were grown in my very own garden.
