Furazone based, it is a broad spectrum antibiotic.

This particular antibiotic is absorbed through the gills and goes directly to the blood stream to inhibit bacterial enzyme system growth. it can pass through because of its small molecular size the gill to treat fish externally and internally as well.

Effective for fin and tail rot, clamping and hemorrhagic septicemia. It is most effective in slightly acid pH, 
not recommended for high pH. Great for bacterial infections.

Will affect biological filtration

Can be used with Kanamycin or Neomycin.

Treat every 24 hours with a 25-30% water change before each treatment.

Be sure to remove all carbon filtration. Treat for 7-10 days.

These Meds are not reef safe

A separate hospital tank is suggested to treat affected fish.
