Our strain of Petenensis were collected by our good friend Armando Pou, they come from Lake Peten,Guatemala , all have been bred in captivty for several years and kept pure by line breeding. Our Veliferas are from Dr. Ptacek's (Clemson University) line collected from the Yucatan/Cozumel area and other strains are from Goliad farms. They are all acclimated to our local tap & well water and eating flakes or pellets along with frozen and live foods.
