The heart of our 2 meter 1K2 is a SINGLE very rugged FET, rated at 1250 Watts of output. This device is rated to
handle a 65:1 mismatch—just look at the list of added *protection we have built in!

Designed by Ken Holladay, K6HCP (KLM, Mirage, RF Concepts and now JK RF Designs), the 1K2 amplifier is
beautiful in its simplicity. The 1K2 is the smallest 1200W amplifier ever offered. We have supplied OUR “state of the art”
amplifier with a built in 92% efficient Powergate 2400W switching supply. The entire 1.2 kW amp weighs in at just under
20 lbs! As an option, we offer the 1K2 without the power supply.

The 1K2 is perfect for DXpeditions and field day operations, and makes a great addition to any home station.
We’ve designed the 1K2 specifically for EME (CW and JT65) and Meteor scatter using SSB, CW or JT6M. Two temperature
controlled whisper fans cool the finned heat sink and cycle on and off as needed. A third fan cools the tank circuit
components. If external preamp and relays are used, the amp supplies 12 VDC and also sequences a N.O. key line.

What a perfect 2M package when combined with our 2M-PA low noise preamp (LNA) and any of our cross
polarized Yagis like the 2MXP20, 2MXP28 or 2MXP32. M2 also offers the bullet proof HPR-1 high power relay and a full
line of low loss phasing lines, power dividers and “H” frames for your next array.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which will vary from state to state or province to province.

M2 warrants the 2M-1K2 amplifier against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from date of purchase. During the warranty period, M2 will, at its option, either repair or replace products or components which prove to be defective. The warranty shall not apply to defects or damage resulting from:

· Improper or inadequate maintenance by user

· Improperly prepared installation site

· Unauthorized modifications or misuse

· Accident, abuse, or misapplication

· Normal wear

M2 specifically does not warrant this product for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use or inability to use the product. Some states or  provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages so the above limitation may not apply.

In the event repair or replacement are necessary, purchaser shall contact M2 for return  authorization. In many cases this contact can simplify and expedite the repair/replacement process and help reduce costs and downtime.

The purchaser shall be responsible for packing the product properly for return and for charges to ship the product to M2. Always include with the shipment a statement detailing the problem or failure and any other pertinent observations. Insuring the product for shipment is  recommended. Use the original packing materials whenever possible. M2 is responsible for charges (in the United States) to return the repaired or replaced product only where warranty service is involved.
