This is a hand made reproduction of a Confederate Army Foot Officers Sword. It is 35 3/4" long with a 29 3/4" blade that is hand forged out of high carbon steel. It also features a highly decorated solid brass hand guard, solid brass butt plate, highly decorated blade, leather handle wrapped with brass wire and a steel scabbard. This sword is sometimes called a "Shelby" because it is the same style of sword carried by the famous Confederate General Jo Shelby. It is brand new and is in excellent condition.
