ARMANI
Giorgio Armani was born in 1934 in a region about 50 miles south of Milan, Italy. In his early years he attended medical school and fulfilled is duty to the Italian Army. After a short career in photography, Giorgio went to work at the famed Italian department store, La Rinascente. La Rinascente, meaning "The Revival" was more than a revival for Giorgio. Rather, his time there inspired a fashion revolution. After nine years of studying under the famed Italian designer, Nino Cerruti, Giorgio went on to establish his own menswear label in 1974. Shortly after his great success, Giorgio introduced his designs to the world of women's fashion in the style that was uniquely casual and elegant. Presently, the Giorgio Armani Label is known all over the world for quality, comfort, and style.-
