About Prada: The Global Fashion Leader known only as PRADA was originally founded as a leather goods store in Milan, in 1915. Prada was originally known as Fratelli Prada, or "The Prada Brothers." For many years Prada was a fine leather working shop until 1978 when the grand daughter to one Fratelli Prada brother became heir to the legacy.
As Miuccia began to lead the company into couture fashion, she used her untamed fashion genius to create wild and flamboyant designs. This collection catapulted Prada into the fashion spotlight.
