Policy on loss or damage during shipment

Ceramic ware is fragile, and we pack accordingly, but handling in transit is beyond our control. Loss or damage is rare in our experience, but does happen. We strongly recommend postal insurance for pottery and tiles; just mention insurance in the comment field, and we’ll charge you what the Post Office charges us. We also recommend priority mail over regular USPS ground to lessen the time the shipment is exposed to damage.

It is your responsibility to file a claim for postal insurance. To do this you must present your invoice, the damaged object and all packaging to your post office, and fill out a claim form. We cannot file postal insurance claims for you.
