Friday, Feb 27, 2009: All day martial art seminars. Lunch included for on-time registrations. (9AM - 4PM)
Saturday, Feb 28, 2009: All day martial art seminars. Lunch included for on-time registrations.(9AM - 4PM)
Sunday, March 1, 2009: FireDragon challenge. Open to all martial artist and community adults. Special Jr. FireDragon Challenge for children of all ages. (with permission of parents) 10AM - completion of testing.
George Mattson will be teaching his unique brand of Uechi-ryu, assisted by his black belt students and attending senior Uechi practitioners. He will be teaching and reviewing his favorite Uechi components in a symposium format - where all seniors will be encouraged to try out Mattson’s unique and sometimes controversial teaching and physical practices, then discuss ways these methods might compliment other methods that are being practiced today.
Guest teachers will be teaching traditional Okinawan weapons, ground fighting strategies, Kyushu principles and applications, "realist" drills and "mindset" for self-defense applications.
Lunch will be catered and served at the facility.(Friday & Saturday)
