The Island album coupled with the Stonedogg album makes volume three, a must have for the Swampers and for the newly indoctrinated.
Tracks 1, 5, 8 and 9 appeared as the therapeutic ôaÆ side of his album, which tells an abridged story of his early bouts with panic attacks and agoraphobia. The remainder of the album is just an ass kicking good time. Several vocal tracks were re-recorded and the result is a more dynamic musical work than it was in 1974.
ôIÆd Lie To You For Your Loveö with additional adlib lyrics by the Dogg is classic. ôWe need a Revolutionö remains a best seller in the Netherlands and the Caribbean. Although political, thereÆs a load of boogie and rÆnÆb throughout tracks 10 through 18.
Fans have been clamoring for these tracks as well as the tracks featured on excellent sides volumes 1,2,4 and 5. With all five in your collection youÆve struck the mother lode.
Volumes six through ten will be in stores next year.
